Dr Alex

Dr. Alex joins us from the sunny Far North Queensland having previously relocated from Sydney over half a decade ago. Graduating with dux from James Cook University, Dr. Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience garnered from her time in various rural clinics. With three cherished Burmese companions of her own and a stint in Africa working with lions, the special place she holds in her heart for cats is unmistakable. Dr. Alex’s interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, clinical pathology, and endocrinology.

Beyond the clinic walls, Dr. Alex can be found embracing the natural beauty of her new surroundings—whether it’s at the beach, a local creek, or exploring the wilderness. Her passion for animals extends beyond the veterinary realm, making her a compassionate and well-rounded addition to our veterinary team.
